Dr. Stephanie Davis is a counselor specializing in anxiety related disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, and Panic Disorder. Her research during undergraduate and graduate school focused on the identification and treatment of mental health concerns in childhood and adolescence. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and her doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Brigham Young University (BYU). She completed her internship at Texas A&M University, where she specialized in treating young adults suffering from anxiety and depressive disorders. She completed post-doctoral work at St. Edward’s University, serving as a triage, crisis, and general counselor for young adults.
Dr. Davis has extensive experience working as a counselor in inpatient, outpatient, and university settings. She regularly presents to college and community groups on the treatment of anxiety and related concerns. She is an advocate for early identification and intervention for childhood emotional concerns and worked with several middle schools while completing her dissertation, helping identify efficient methodologies for identifying at-risk youth.
Dr. Davis grew up in Orange County and is now thrilled to share her hometown with her husband and son.
