Dr. Hsia will be speaking at the 2018 Anxiety and Depression Conference in Washington D.C. This is an annual conference hosted by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and is focused on the integration of research and practice.

Dr. Hsia will be participating in a round table discussion regarding the “Paradoxical Impact of Intellect on OCD Treatment”, specifically looking at the impact of High IQ on OCD. The discussion will explore the impact of High IQ on OCD characteristics like perfectionism, over-analyzing, and detailed doubts. They will explore how clinicians can help clients through psychoeducation and through the use of appropriate treatment protocols.
