Zoe Ashebo is a Bilingual (English/Mandarin) Person-Centered Cognitive Behavioral Associate Therapist on a path towards clinical counseling licensure (APCC), bringing a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach to guiding individuals through their challenges. She is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness techniques, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Ms. Ashebo specializes in treating anxiety disorders and OCD, with a strong focus on supporting families and children.
Zoe’s journey to become a therapist began during her undergraduate years at Clark University, where her interest in clinical psychology blossomed. She continued her education at the Beck Institute at Assumption University in Massachusetts, where she honed her expertise in CBT and ACT, earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with a specialization in Child & Family Interventions and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
Following her education, Zoe embarked on spiritual training through a Bible/Truth program in Anaheim, deepening her ability to provide counseling and support for individuals’ faith and spiritual development. This experience influenced her belief in addressing the holistic needs of individuals—spirit, soul, and body.
For seven years, Zoe served as a spiritual counselor at a church in Irvine, focusing on adolescents and college-aged individuals. During this time, she recognized a growing demand for psychological interventions alongside spiritual guidance, reigniting her passion for clinical counseling.
Recently, Zoe has committed herself to pursuing licensure in Professional Clinical Counseling, driven by her desire to effectively meet the psychological needs of her clients. Her multifaceted background and dedication to holistic care make her a valuable asset in supporting individuals and families on their journey towards healing and growth
Zoe loves cooking up various cuisines, staying active, geeking out over health and nutrition, and designing Montessori activities for her toddler girl.
